As I write, we are about 50 days into the Trump Presidency. It is enough time for most Democrats get to Kübler-Ross’s five stages of grief. I watched liberal friends on Facebook move from denial (“He is not MY president”) to anger (Protests) to bargaining and depression. Soon they will get to the acceptance stage. Acceptance is just around the corner.
Whether you are a liberal, a recovered #NeverTrump-er, a conservative who is cautiously optimistic, or you rode the Trump Train from the first station, allow me to make a suggestion. Read what Trump said. He has spelled out how he thinks many times. He is the author of dozens of books. Whether he wrote them or dictated them to someone is immaterial. Read his past thinking if you want to anticipate what he will likely do in the future.
Books by Donald Trump
I have personally read about 10 of his books and I have found them very useful for the purposes I described. Yes, you should expect to hear about his conquests in every book, and if you read more than one, you might find this a bit repetitive but read at least one. You will gain a great deal of insight into the man in the process. Happy reading.
